Construction Inspection - Supervising Others
When supervising others, it is beneficial to possess skills in communication, leadership, documentation and instruction. You are responsible for providing clear and intelligent communication to anyone you supervise. Important leadership skills including honesty, integrity, confidence, competence, optimism and commitment provide a foundation for communication between the leader and those being led.
Any written and oral communication should be regarded as part of the project record. Oral communications should always be confirmed in writing to eliminate any future misunderstandings. This course provides practical advice for supervising others.
