Discovering the World of Public Works is an educational outreach program that introduces children (K-5) to the world of public works. This ready-made curriculum covers public works in general and explores in-depth the areas of construction, traffic and transportation, solid waste and water and wastewater. This curriculum is will provide you with everything you need to explain to children about the role public works plays in their community.

The Workbook for Children contains puzzles, worksheets, word games, coloring pages, glossary, and other activities. It is divided into two levels – Basic K-2nd grade and Chipper’s Challenge activities geared to 3rd – 5th grade.
Chipper's Adventures in Public Works is written at a 3rd grade level, is fully illustrated five chapter book. There is a quiz at the end of the book to test the children’s comprehension of the story.**
