Discovering the World of Public Works is an educational outreach program that introduces children (K-5) to the world of public works. This ready-made curriculum covers public works in general and explores in-depth the areas of construction, traffic and transportation, solid waste and water and wastewater. Chipper's Adventures in Public Works is written at a 3rd grade level, is fully illustrated five chapter book. There is a quiz at the end of the book to test the children’s comprehension of the story.**
