Construction Inspection - Critical Path Method Scheduling
Personal computers and mobile devices have made the scheduling process fast and efficient. Scheduling has evolved from basic linear scheduling to a more integrated Critical Path Method of scheduling. The Critical Path Method of scheduling provides a sequential chain of project activities organized in the most efficient manner by prioritizing the activities in logical order.
The Critical Path Method is used to construct a model of the project that includes a list of all activities, the duration of each activity, dependencies between activities, and available resources. This course provides a basic understanding of the evolution of construction scheduling and an introduction to the mechanics of the Critical Path Method.
