Construction Inspection - The Pre-Construction Conference & Agenda
The Pre-Construction Conference reviews the progress of matters related to pre-project planning and construction start-up. It is one of the last stages of pre-project planning, and should be scheduled after the bid has been awarded but before construction starts.
The Pre-Construction Conference is a very good opportunity to meet and exchange contact information with those involved in project construction. The participants of the Pre-Construction Conference usually include the representatives of the contractor, the principal subcontractors, design engineers, regulatory personnel, any other design agencies that may be involved and affected utility agencies. This course will help the learner plan a successful Pre-Construction Conference.
