Construction Inspection Live Online Workshop
This unique course combines the benefits of an in-person workshop with the convenience of on-line learning. This course will include two class sessions of instruction for two hours, two days a week for four weeks, allowing for instructor interactions, peer networking, and on-line discussions. Live instruction sessions will be recorded and can be watched by participants who have a conflict with the live class time or revisited by participants.

The program is based on the newly revised APWA Construction Inspection Manual and is designed for construction inspectors of various experience levels. All facets of public project inspection are covered, including the roles and responsibilities of an inspector, legal/ risk management and regulatory issues, documentation and communication, and project close-out. This program will be worth 2.0 CEU credits or 20 hours of CPII recertification credit.

Live instruction dates will be 2 Hours each Tuesday and Thursday for 4 weeks (March 16, 18, 23, 25, 30 and April 1, 6, 8) from 7:30am-9:30am Pacific, 8:30am-10:30am Mountain, 9:30am-11:30am Central, and 10:30am-12:30am Eastern.

After completing this course, participants will be better able to:
1. Explain the purpose, responsibilities and duties of an inspector.
2. Identify the elements involved in construction inspection (communication, documentation, risk mgmt., legal, planning, regulations, etc.)
3. Identify and address risk management and various proper installation concerns.
