Climate Change Considerations for Asset Management
Communities are facing unprecedented impacts from climate change, which effects how municipalities deliver services and increases risk to municipal assets. Integrating climate change considerations into asset management (for natural and engineered assets) through risk assessment, levels of services, and other strategies can help communities become more resilient. This session will also cover the importance of incorporating natural assets into asset management and best practices in natural/green infrastructure asset management.  Webinar, 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. CT | 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. ET | 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MT | 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. PT

After attending this session, participants will be better able to:

  • Recognize how climate change impacts public works and municipal assets.
  • Identify best practices for integrating climate change with asset management.
  • Identify best practices in natural/green infrastructure asset management.
This program offers 0.1 CEU credits for the one hour presentation portion of the program.  The final half hour, discussions in the lounge area is optional.
