Are you sure that the outdoor grounds facilities you are responsible for comply with ADA laws? In this program, you’ll learn about accessibility and universal access in grounds areas. Information will be provided using real examples for doing an ADA assessment of grounds areas and developing a plan to address ADA issues for grounds areas. After attending this session, participants will be better able to:

  • Identify the requirements from ADA/MAAB for outdoor facilities.
  • Determine the best practices for accessibility beyond what is required.
  • Describe new methods that best support invisible disabilities within your facilities.
This program offers 0.1 CEU credits for the one hour presentation portion of the program.  The final half hour, discussions in the lounge area is optional.
