Resiliency in Solid Waste
In today's world a community cannot plan enough for a potential disaster, especially those 1000-year occurrences.  This presentation provides effective strategies and lessons learned that will assist in the planning, response and recovery from a disaster as it pertains to Debris Management. We will look at debris management challenges from an administrative, operational, and financial perspective providing examples of the challenges, mistakes and learning experiences from previous disaster events.





After attending this session the participant will be better able to:

1. Identify the components of Public Assistance program eligibility.
2.  Create a Disaster Debris Management Plan.
3. Assess operational considerations in debris management.


A recording of this program will be available through the Members' Library within one week of the live program.


This program has been approved for .2 CEUs or 2 PDHs. Please note there is a $7 fee per non-member individual requesting CEUs (there is no fee for members).
