National Public Works Week Awards Contest

Each year CPWA hosts an awards contest to recognize municipalities in Canada for their NPWW programs and events and all communities are invited to submit their activities. A panel of evaluators chooses winning entries based on the awards criteria and any municipality in Canada is eligible for nomination.

CPWA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2021 National Public Works Week Awards Contest!

  • First Time Entry: County of Grande Prairie, AB
  • Community under 25,000: City of Cold Lake, AB
  • Community of 25,000 to 99,999: Ville de Pointe-Claire, QC
  • Community of 100,000 or more: County of Wellington, ON
  • Most Creative Entry: City of Nanaimo, BC

A designated representative of the public agency or municipality will be presented a plaque at the municipal event of their choice (usually a town council meeting).
