National Public Works Week Awards Contest

Each year CPWA hosts an awards contest to recognize municipalities in Canada for their NPWW programs and events and all communities are invited to submit their activities. A panel of evaluators chooses winning entries based on the awards criteria and any municipality in Canada is eligible for nomination.

CPWA is pleased to announce the winners of the 2022 National Public Works Week Awards Contest!

• First Time Entry: Town of East Gwillimbury, ON
• Community under 25,000: City of Cold Lake, AB   Read the press release
• Community of 25,000 to 99,999: Town of East Gwillimbury, ON
• Community of 100,000 or more: City of Guelph, ON   Read the press release
• Most Creative Entry: Ville de Pointe-Claire, QC   Read the press release

A designated representative of the public agency or municipality will be presented a plaque at the municipal event of their choice (usually a town council meeting).
