APWA Student Membership Application Online

NOTE: Completion of online Student membership application also requires payment by MasterCard, VISA or American Express. If you prefer to print the application and mail it with a payment check, please click here. We do not recommend using this application for annual membership renewals.

(Please note that all APWA members residing in Canada are also members of the Canadian Public Works Association. Your credit card will be charged in US Dollars but may be subject to the exchange rate at the time when the payment is processed.)

Student Individual Membership

Available to any student enrolled in at least nine credit hours per semester at an accredited college, university, junior college or community college offering Associate's, Bachelor's or advanced degree programs in engineering, public administration, planning, construction or other public works-related coursework. A formal Student chapter need not be in existence at your educational facility before APWA will accept your Student Individual Membership application.

Membership is for one year and will begin upon receipt of dues payment.

NOTE: Please complete a separate online application for each new Student Individual membership requested.

Student Individual Membership Dues at $28 USD

Student Group Memberships

Available to any group of at least five students who are each enrolled in at least nine credit hours per semester at the same accredited college, university, junior college or community college offering Associate's, Bachelor's or advanced degree programs in engineering, public administration, planning, construction or other public works-related coursework. Student Groups may include more than five members; there is a per person "additional Student Group member" fee. When joining as a Student Group, each member saves $4 USD on annual membership dues. Membership is for one year and will begin upon receipt of dues payment.

Student Groups will receive one consolidated renewal notice with a member roster attached. Each student on the Student Group roster will have the same membership expiration date and the group’s annual renewal notice will be addressed to the person identified as the group’s "key contact." Student Members may be added or dropped from the Student Group roster only during this annual membership renewal time period.
