EPA Announces Session on IIJA Funding for Recycling Stakeholders – June 14

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will host a virtual feedback session for recycling stakeholders on Tuesday, June 14th, from 11:00 am ET until 12:30 pm ET related to funding provided by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) for the Consumer Education and Outreach Grant Program and Model Recycling Program Toolkit.

IIJA authorized $75 million over five years for recycling initiatives and the Consumer Education and Outreach Grant Program represents EPA’s first attempt at a national recycling strategy. Per the EPA’s webpage, the agency welcomes non-governmental organizations, community groups, academic institutions, non-profits, as well as private sector companies engaged in the recycling and composting industry to attend the event to offer input and feedback.The registration link to participate can be found here.
