Nominations now being accepted for APWA National Board of Directors

APWA’s National and Regional Nominating Committees are currently issuing a call for nominations for Board of Directors positions. Nominations for all APWA Board positions with terms expiring August 29, 2021, will be solicited from the membership beginning this month and continuing through 5:00 PM EDT on March 5. The National and Regional Nominating Committees will be responsible for providing nominations by March 25, and the affirmation ballot will be open from May 14 through June 11.

APWA’s National Nominating Committee will be considering nominations this year for the following board positions:

  • President-Elect
  • Technical Director
    • Fleet & Facilities – Vic Bianes is completing his first two-year term and is eligible for additional two-year terms.
  • Regional Director
    • Region I – Gary Losier is completing his second two-year term and is eligible for an additional two-year term.
    • Region II – Dominick Longobardi is completing his first two-year term and is eligible for an additional two-year term.
    • Region V – Sean O’Dell is completing his first two-year term and is eligible for an additional two-year term.
    • Region VI – Joe Johnson is completing his first two-year term and is eligible for an additional two-year term.
    • Region VIII – Shahnawaz Ahmad is completing his third two-year term and is not eligible for an additional term.

Candidate nominations may be self-nominations, may be submitted by any APWA member, or by a chapter. The National Board of Directors Nominations/Affirmations Information page provides more information.
