Prime Minister in Self-Isolation and Parliament Adjourns


Prime Minister Justin Trudeau began self-isolation on Friday March 13, when his wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, tested positive for the coronavirus.

On Friday, March 13, the House of Commons adopted a motion by unanimous consent to stand adjourned until Monday, April 20, suspending all committee studies and other activities. The Senate adjourned until Tuesday, April 21.
