On November 13, Mr. Chad Wolf was sworn in to serve as the next Acting Department of Homeland (DHS) Secretary. This follows a 54-41 vote by the U.S. Senate to advance the nomination of Mr. Wolf as the Under Secretary forstrategy, policy and plans at DHS – a required move to allow Mr. Wolf to assume the position of DHS Acting Secretary.Mr. Wolf will now lead the agency following the announcement earlier this fall that Mr. Kevin McAleenan was stepping down from the position.

Prior to his service as Acting DHS Secretary, Mr. Wolf’s professional background included over 20 years of management experience in both the public and private sectors, with stints at DHS and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
