Roundtable discussions highlight Chapter Leaders Forum

Roundtable discussions hosted by Chapter Leaders are the focal point of the annual Chapter Leaders Forum, held each year at PWX. This year’s Forum is set for 3:00-4:50 p.m. on Sunday, September 8 in the Tahoma Room (3-4-5) at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

APWA Chapter and LTAP partnerships valued

The American Public Works Association (APWA) and the National LTAP Association (NLTAPA) have a long-standing partnership. Tammy Bennett, Director of Membership & Engagement for APWA, participated in a partner update at the recent NLTAPA conference.

“I was truly impressed by the number of LTAP staff who reached out on how much they value the work they are able to do collaboratively with APWA chapters,” she said. “Thanks for all the work you do at the local level supporting those who operate, improve, and maintain infrastructure and public works!”

Any chapter that is interested in developing or expanding a relationship with LTAP in their state should contact Tammy Bennet at tbennett@apwa.net or at 816-595-5260.

APWA's DIY-Public Workshop Kits

APWA’s DIY-Public WorksShop Kits provide our chapters and agencies with high-quality, professional, and comprehensive materials for face-to-face education programs. DIY Kits provide you with everything you need to host a program, minus the facilitator. These programs are great as stand-alone workshops or as part of your next chapter conference program.

Once a kit is purchased, the chapter or agency has unlimited access to the materials and can hold the program as many times as they wish, making this one of the most affordable ways to provide education to your entire agency or your chapter members.
DIY-Public WorksShop Kits Include:
  • Facilitator Guide
  • Participant Guide
  • PowerPoint Slides*
  • Information on how to offer CEUs for the program
  • CEU Workshop Forms
  • Marketing Resources
  • Session Evaluation Templates
*Program Materials vary by Kit.
