Roundtable topics being set for Chapter Leaders Forum

The annual Chapter Leaders Forum at PWX is scheduled for 3:00 – 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, September 8 in Seattle.

This event is a must for any chapter leader. The roundtable discussion format has proven to be popular with those who attend. Last year in Kansas City, the event attracted 125leaders from 47 different chapters.

There will be tables spread around the room, and chapter leaders can plan to know in what discussions they will participate. There will be two tables for some of the most popular topics, such as “Chapter Finances” and “Young Professionals Outreach,” and one table for such topics as “Chapter Leader Basics,” and “O & M Engagement.”

Vic Bianes, currently the alternate delegate for the San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter, is the chair of the PWX Chapter leaders Forum task force. That group is tasked with setting the table topics and the agenda for the day.

For more information, contact Brad Patterson, APWA Membership Manager, at 816-595-5263 or at bpatterson@apwa.net.
