PACE deadline is June 3

There are 38 chapters that are eligible to submit for the PACE (Presidential Award for Chapter Excellence). Chapters must submit by June 3 and those that will receive the PACE will be notified the first week of July. The chapters that receive the PACE will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony on Monday, September 9 in Seattle.

PWX Chapter Dinner info needed

Chapters or regions planning a Chapter Dinner at PWX in Seattle, Washington should use this link https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2J3MKZ9 to supply the information needed to acquire insurance for the event. The deadline is June 28.  

The information supplied will included on the PWX app. If onsite registrations are going to be accepted, please include an onsite contact person. You can also locate the form on the front page of the Chapter Leader Resources page at https://clr.apwa.net/ and scroll down until you reach the Time to Eat photo.

Complete request form to have an APWA Board Member a Chapter event

Chapters that would like to have the APWA President, President-Elect, Past President, an At-Large Director, or your Regional Director attend your chapter event, please complete the request form provided at the link below.

Two news webinars are now available

The 2019 PACE webinar and the webinar on Chapter Leader Resources have been posted to the APWA YouTube Channel.  

April Chapter Membership Reports are available in the Chapter Leaders Resources area

The national membership total at the end of April was back over 30,000 for the first time since August. The month-end total is 30,027. That was an increase of 55 members over the month of March.

If the link above does not work, you can access the reports by going to clr.apwa.net and clicking on “Membership.” After you will be prompted to sign in, you’ll be taken to the home page for the membership reports. You can also get to this page by signing in on www.apwa.net, then click on MYAPWA HOME in the main menu, then on the MYAPWA HOME page click on the orange “Chapter Leader Resources” icon.
