Chapter websites explained!
 

A webinar to help members navigate their chapter website is set for 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 16.
 
This webinar will provide members the tools and resources to get started on the chapter website template. Those participating in the webinar will learn how to create pages, committees, job postings, menus, events and update your homepage.
 
Ashley Wilson, APWA Associate Director of Membership, will also demonstrate how to manage events through the chapter website for small events and for some of the large events.

PACE Deadline is June 3


There are 38 chapters that are eligible to submit for the PACE (Presidential Award for Chapter Excellence). Chapters must submit by June 3 and those that will receive the PACE will be notified the first week of July. The chapters that receive the PACE will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony on Monday, September 9 in Seattle.

Council of Chapters' summer meeting is in Seattle
 

The Council of Chapters' summer meeting will take place on Saturday, September 7 in Seattle at the Westin Seattle Hotel. 


ELA Applications now available online
 

Applications for the Emerging Leaders Academy Class XIII are now live. Applications are due Friday, August 2 and participants will be notified no later than Friday, September 20. Anyone interested can go to the webpage for more information at: ELA FAQ
