DOT Announces $1.36 Billion in Grant Funding
This week, the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announced $1.36 billion in federal grant funds will be allocated through the Capital Investment Grant (CIG) program.
The CIG provides funds for transit capital investments, including heavy rail, commuter rail, light rail, streetcars, and bus rapid transit.The funding will be directed to 16 new and existing CIG projects. To view a copy of the DOT press release with additional information, please click here
