Here is your second chance to interact with CLT Keynote Speaker


A live webinar on member retention, presented by Lowell Aplebaum, the keynote speaker at the recent Chapter Leaders Training in Kansas City, will be offered at 2:00 p.m. Central Time on Wednesday, March 27.
 
Mr. Aplebaum, CEO and Strategy Catalyst for Vista Cova, will present on “Member Retention: Creating the Member Experience.”  Mr. Aplebaum specializes in a working with organizations as a facilitator of vision and strategy. He works to create anorganizational dialogue around vision, strategic planning, community and connections, and value. 
 
His General Session presentation at the Chapter Leaders Training in Kansas City was very well received. In this Live webinar, participants will be able to follow along and ask questions.

Get your Chapter Awards Manual


A resource is now available for chapters with a new awards program or an established one. 

The Chapter Awards Manual is the work product of a Council of Chapters’ Task Force. It covers marketing the awards program, finding award candidates and recognizing them. Included are some helpful tips to increase the chance for a nomination to win at the national level.
 
This manual has been posted on the Chapter Leader Resources area at https://www.apwa.net/clr. Click on the home page click on the awards tab. If you have any questions, please contact Rhonda Wilhite at rwilhite@apwa.net.

APWA members interested in serving at the national level are encouraged to go to the National Nominations pages on the website to learn more about available opportunities at www.apwa.net/nominations.
 
A great deal of information is available including time requirements, committee objectives and expectations, ideal qualifications and more. Nominations will be accepted through March 22.
