Envision v3 Peer Review and Comment Period

The Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure is seeking feedback on its latest version of the Envision® sustainable infrastructure framework, known as Envision v3. ISI is accepting feedback until November 1 at https://sustainableinfrastructure.org/envision-v3/.

All members of APWA are invited to participate in this public review process. The draft Envision v3 credits–the foundational component of the Envision framework – are available for download on the ISI website, along with a link to the survey. Envision v3 will officially launch in early 2018.

Developed and maintained by ISI, Envision is a tool used by infrastructure owners, engineers, planners, designers, and other sustainability professionals to design and deliver more sustainable, resilient infrastructure.

Envision is the product of a collaboration between ISI, which was founded by three national engineering associations: American Society of Civil Engineers, American Council of Engineering Companies, and the American Public Works Association; and the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Thirteen committees made up of 75 Envision users with specific technical expertise from across the United States and Canada contributed to the development of Envision v3. The new version of Envision will be further strengthened through this public comment period.
