We are seeking members to serve as contacts between their APWA chapter and the national Leadership and Management Committee.  Time commitment involves participation in chapter activities and coordinating communication between the chapter and national committee.

The Leadership and Management Committee continues to be committed to finding new ways to engage the membership on topics of interest in leadership and management. In an effort to expand volunteer opportunities to those that may be interested in contributing to the Leadership and Management Committee, we have developed a special LM Knowledge Team.

As an LM Knowledge Team member we ask that you commit to the following:

• Join the APWA Leadership and Management Group on Facebook.
• Participate in group discussions on a regular basis through the Leadership and Management Group page.
• Commit to disseminating leadership and management information to APWA members through writing articles, speaking at various conferences or other methods.

LM Knowledge Team members will have a unique opportunity to share their input with the Leadership & Management Committee and have a primary role in shaping the future of APWA and public works leaders. This will also give added visibility to those interested in serving on the Leadership and Management Committee in the future as committee positions become open.

We are always in need of members interested in writing articles for the APWA Reporter and other APWA publications. We also need individuals to conduct reviews of articles and books on professional topics.
