About This Group

The Sustainability and Resiliency Committee members identify and develop tools and best practices to ensure APWA becomes the driving force for sustainability and resiliency in public works management while growing the next generation of public works leaders with strong sustainability and resiliency credentials and commitment.

The Sustainability and Resiliency Committee is also proud of APWA’s role as a founding partner of the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), which developed Envision, a tool for rating the sustainability of infrastructure projects and the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) designation.
