Liaison to Other Organizations
APWA has formal and informal partnerships with many other organizations; some of these partner relationships involve a volunteer liaison or a representative on the other organization's board. Additional information about which other partnerships have a need for an APWA liaison is announced during the annual Committee nomination process.
Chapter Contact
We are seeking members to serve as contacts between their APWA chapter and C4S on issues concerning sustainability, resilience, climate change and social equity. Time commitment involves participation in chapter activities and coordinating communication between the chapter and C4S.
Author/Reviewer
We are always in need of members interested in writing articles for the APWA Reporter and other APWA publications, as well as conduct reviews of articles and books on professional topics.
C4S Knowledge Team
To expand volunteer opportunities to those interested in contributing, C4S has created a C4S Knowledge Team. Members are invited to write articles, present Click, Listen, and Learn sessions, speak at PWX and other conferences, and participate in other C4S projects.
APWA Connect
Join the Center for Sustainability Community, found under ‘infoNOW’ on the APWA Connect homepage, to pose questions to other community members, post news, and share resources.
