The APWA Fleet Management Committee is responsible for educating APWA members and nonmembers to ensure fleets in the US and Canada serve not only public works but the general public. APWA Education is independent of APWA Certification. Each APWA certification program is governed by a Certification Council, a semi-independent certifying body of APWA. In adherence to certification industry standards, the Council volunteers are independent and not involved in the development of preparatory programs.
