FACILITIES MANAGER

The Town of Jackson, Public Works Department, is now accepting applications for the full time position of Facilities Manager, $52,611 - $76,227 annually, DOQ. This is an excellent opportunity for a value centered, team-oriented professional. The Public Works Director is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill a position with varied duties but with a main focus of professional management of all Town facilities and management of all Town facility construction and remodel projects. Additional duties include management of all HVAC, lighting, plumbing, internal building infrastructure systems, and management of custodial contracts and custodial staff. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facility management or related field, Master’s degree preferred and two (2) years experience in construction management or facility management or similar position. Ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and computer/software skills, a tenacious work ethic, enthusiasm for becoming part of a positive team, and a desire for public service.
