The Borough of Carlisle is seeking a highly qualified professional who is inspired by interesting challenges of an established, but dynamic community for the position of Public Works Director.

Carlisle is located in picturesque south-central Pennsylvania, 18 miles southwest of Harrisburg, the state capital. Centrally located in Cumberland County, the Borough, established in 1751, also serves as the seat of county government. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering, construction management, public administration, business administration, or related field. Eight years of responsible full-time public works, project management, construction management, or civil engineering experience involving city or county public works projects, including five years of management experience. A PE or the potential to obtain a PE within a reasonable period of time is desirable.

Starting salary $86,237
