Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Based at our Anthem state-of-the-art Water/Wastewater treatment campus, supervise operations maintenance staff responsible for mechanical and electrical maintenance at Water and Wastewater plants, pumping stations and other facilities. Provide guidance to maintenance operators and electricians to ensure preventative maintenance programs are scheduled, assigned, monitored and closed out. Ensure that operational integrity in quality, environment, reliability, health, safety and security meets required regulatory and company standards. Assist with developing and managing capital and O&M budgets.
This position requires a 2-year college degree in operational discipline (or equivalent technical operations experience in lieu of degree). Also requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Water or Wastewater utility operations with a focus on maintenance. At least 2 years of supervisory experience is required as well.
Knowledge of water or wastewater utility system maintenance programs and working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and process control equipment and systems is required. Computer proficiency with Word and Excel are a must. ADEQ Grade 2 certifications in Distribution, WT, WWT and/or WW Collections are required. ADEQ Grade 3 or 4 certifications are highly desirable. Also requires valid Class B AZ driver’s license with excellent driving record. You must obtain Class A driver’s license within one year of hire.
