Seasonal Noxious Weed Control Technician - Eligibility Register
THIS JOB POSTING IS TO CREATE AN ELIGIBILITY REGISTER TO FILL CURRENT AND FUTURE SEASONAL POSITIONS. THIS REGISTER IS VALID UNTIL OCTOBER 31, 2014
The Road Maintenance division of Public Works is anticipating hiring four (4) Seasonal Noxious Weed Control Technician positions until approximately October 31, 2014. These positions will be filled based on operational needs. Date of hire and length of employment will depend on workload and budget.
Submit an on-line application, supplemental and attach a current 2014 Washington State driver's abstract (Complete Record) obtained through the Department of Licensing;
Under the "Special Requirement" section are the serious traffic violations that will disqualify you from moving forward in the hiring process;
Minimum Qualifications: Application will be screened for minimum qualifications;
Supplemental Scoring: must pass to qualify for an interview;
Review of 2014 Washington State Department of Licensing driving record (complete record);
Interview: Applicants who qualify for an interview will be notified by email with instructions on how to self-schedule an interview;
Criminal Background Check: Applicants will be subject to a criminal background check before a job offer is made;
Reference check - if invited to an interview you will be asked to bring a list of your references including current and former supervisors and internal clients.
Job offer will be conditioned on satisfactory results of a current (2014) and valid three year complete driver's abstract from Washington State obtained through the Department of Licensing. Applicants are subject to a criminal background check as part of the hiring process.
