Woolpert, Inc. seeks an experienced water resources engineer to join the Watershed Management team in its Columbia, SC office as a Project Director.

This candidate will be responsible for profitable growth within the Watershed Management practice area through the establishment or improvement of client relationships. This position is also key in working across practice areas and service lines to develop business opportunities and assure services are performed in a manner compatible with the goal of being an industry leader. The ideal candidate will be recognized as an industry leader in Stormwater Management and have demonstrated experience in developing and managing Stormwater Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) programs; evaluating and developing compliance programs for Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs); designing retrofit and Green Infrastructure projects; developing watershed management studies; and using industry standard models for water quantity and water quality projects. Candidate must have a proven track record of building strong relationships with potential clients and provide exceptional project delivery to existing clients. Candidate should be known in industry affiliated professional organizations and groups and have a solid track record of managing technically diverse internal teams and managing projects to profitability. Work experiences and client relationships with local and state agencies in South Carolina and surrounding States are also desired.
