Clackamas County is seeking an experienced, highly skilled, creative individual with excellent management, organizational and interpersonal skills to bring leadership and vision to the Department of Transportation and Development.

The Director of Transportation and Development reports to the County Administrator and participates as a member of the County's Executive Management Team to facilitate effective and quality service delivery in all County programs. A true generalist, the Director of Transportation and Development will provide department wide executive leadership, assess managerial and organizational effectiveness, perform fiscal planning, policy development, public service and communication. The position is responsible for developing and implementing department goals, objectives, policies and priorities and providing team leadership and administrative direction to division managers.
