GIS - INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST (Regular Full-Time Exempt)
Salary Range $43,222 to $68,411 DOQ
Position Responsibilities: The Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible primarily for the creation and upkeep of the City’s utility models. This will entail working as a team with engineering, utility, planning, and GIS staff to ensure that appropriate and accurate information are incorporated into, and produced from, each model. Each utility (water, wastewater, and stormwater) will have a current, committed, and future model. These models will be used to identify infrastructure improvement needs as well as in the evaluation of proposed developments. Other duties will include, but are not limited to: analysis and mapping infrastructure condition and maintenance history; general data analysis for other City departments; data creation/collection/maintenance; general cartography.
Experience Required: A bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Civil Engineering, or related field with a strong GIS component is required. A strong background with Esri’s ArcGIS for Desktop software, relational databases, system modeling (preferably utility), strong communication skills, and asset management are essential.
