Under general direction, leads, plans, supervises and coordinates the City’s Parks, Facilities maintenance efforts and Capital Improvement Projects; represents the City and serves as a liaison with architects and contractors, community organizations, and City departments in the building, renovation and/or rehabilitation of City owned facilities and parks; oversees facility maintenance for City owned buildings, parks and special lighting districts; performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (minimum qualifications necessary for entry into the classification.)
Education and/or Experience:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Real Estate, Accounting, Planning, Liberal Arts, Horticulture, Parks, Recreation, Public Administration, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related field.
Possess four years of experience in the planning, maintenance or construction of parks or public buildings, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
Possession of a valid Class C California driver’s license.
