The Village of Lombard is seeking an innovative and highly organized professional to manage the customer service and water billing division. The Customer Service Supervisor currently supervises 2 full time, 2 part-time, and one paid on call position.
The primary responsibility of the Customer Service Supervisor is to manage and oversee all aspects of the division and personnel. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing assistance to residents, businesses, customers and staff; developing and monitoring cash handling procedures; adhering to auditing standards; oversight of utility billing and revenue collections; performing daily balancing; prepare monthly reports; managing the utility billing/cash receipts software and other third party contracts; assisting the Director and Assistant Director with special projects; and perform other functions as assigned or required.
Minimum qualifications include:
• Associate’s degree in Business Management or a related field with five years of customer service/supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge skills and abilities for this job.
Starting Salary: $54,288 D.O.Q.
