Public Works Director
Provide leadership, management and supervision to all elements of Public Works to include County Engineering, Capital Projects, Environmental Services, General Services, Field Services, and Administration Services. Responsible for activities related to construction projects, maintenance of buildings. utilities, drainage systems, road projects and transportation network planning. Provides communication and coordination between these services and the County Administrator, Assistant County Administrators, Board of County Commissioners and other directors and managers.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field of expertise; Six (6) years of professional experience in management, strategic planning, finance, engineering and /or project management. A Master's Degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or related field of expertise preferred and four (4) years experience. Possession of a valid Driver’s License is required.
Salary/Benefits: $93,000 - $130,000 Medical/dental/life insurance, generous paid time off, state retirement program, wellness program and much more.
