The City of Rockville is offering an exciting career opportunity for a Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. The Superintendent is responsible to manage and direct the operation and maintenance of the 8MGD water treatment and pumping plant to produce safe drinking water meeting all applicable Federal and State water quality regulations for a population of 46,900. The Superintendent supervises 11 water treatment plant operators and performs difficult professional, technical and administrative work with considerable opportunity for independent action. The successful candidate is required to be certified as a Maryland Class 4 Superintendent within three months of hire date.
