Technical Services Division Chief job in Dallas

The largest provider of wastewater treatment services in Texas seeks a Technical Services Division Chief who will be responsible for supervising, planning, coordinating and implementing matters related to the daily operation and maintenance activities of the Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) Collection system. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in the wastewater collection system activities with three years’ of supervisory experience preferred.

The Technical Services Division Chief will work under general supervision in developing work practices to monitor, evaluate, maintain and rehabilitate various collection system facilities, infrastructure and equipment.

Skills include the ability to apply sound administrative and supervisory skills and engineering practices; possess strong communication skills in order to communicate with customer cities, outside agencies and departments within the Authority; must possess the ability to comprehend and interpret technical data, regulatory requirements regarding wastewater collection systems, as well as the contractual obligations with customer cities.

A bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required and a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Class III Wastewater Collection System Operator license is preferred.
