Civil Engineering Technician The Village of Lombard is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician for the Engineering Division of the Department of Public Works. Assists staff engineers and inspects the installation of public/private infrastructure improvements to ensure compliance with village codes. The position will also assist with traffic related activities (traffic signals, street lights, signage, pavement markings, signal and stop sign warrant analyses, etc.). Requires at least a 2 year Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program or equivalent experience. Engineering construction field inspection, contract administration, AutoCAD drafting and total station surveying experience are preferred. Salary starts at $46,983 per year.
