The City of El Paso is seeking a Solid Waste Operations Manager to oversee and manage daily operations and maintenance of the City’s solid waste collection and disposal programs, including refuse collection, curbside recycling, citizen collection stations, special collections, landfill, and community events. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Public Administration and five (5) years of solid waste operations experience, including two (2) years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Must have a valid Texas Municipal Solid Waste Technician Class “A” License from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality within one (1) year of appointment.
