McHenry County seeks full time Drainage Engineer. Responsible for overall support to the Division functions of design, construction, permitting and land acquisition. Manage various design contracts as they relate to drainage issues. Assist in managing other professional service contracts for the execution of the County’s annual Highway Improvement Program. Assist the Division in complying with County ordinances and State/Federal guidelines relating to storm water management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 3 to 5 years experience in civil engineering for highway construction projects. Illinois Professional Engineer license/ability to obtain in 1 year. Benefits: Comprehensive benefit package. Salary for this exempt position is dependent upon qualifications.
