The City of Topeka, KS is seeking qualified candidates for a Utilities Superintendent. Reporting to the Director of Public Works, this position is responsible for the overall operations of the Water, Water Pollution Control and Stormwater utilities and the Utilities Customer Services and Business Services sections. Directs and supervises the primary manager of each area including leading the management staff in organizing, staffing, planning, and operations control of the Utilities divisions to ensure efficient, effective coordination and delivery of services.
Minimum qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a degree in civil engineering or closely related field along with five (5) years of experience with utilities (water, storm water, sewer). Successful candidate will have the knowledge and ability to apply industry recognized best management techniques and practices.
Entry annual salary: $67.5K to $92.5K, DOQ
