The Public Works Institute Task Force created a learning model for chapters interested in developing and conducting education to address the supervisory and management needs of current first-line supervisors and above. With the goal of creating better leaders and supervisors, this publication" APWA Public Works Institute Learning Model" is available in APWA's Store: http://www2.apwa.net/bookstore/detail.asp?PC=PB.E620
There are two National certificates available you may award individuals enrolled in an approved institute, a certificate of participation and a certificate of completion. The certificate of participation is available for individuals completing significant institute milestones and a certificate of completion is available for individuals completing institute requirements for graduation. Either or both certificates are available for your chapter’s use. For information about getting certificates click here.
