The City of Bellingham, Washington, is completing a major road project through a brownfield site located in the downtown area. They are also going through the Greenroads certification process to assure the public that the project will be the best it can be and will include as many aspects of sustainable design as possible. This presentation will discuss the project's complex permitting and construction components and federal funding considerations.
