The Chapter Membership Achievement Award was established in 2005 to encourage membership growth by honoring chapters showing the largest net increase in membership, compared to other chapters in their division.
Divisions (based upon chapter’s number of members as of June 30th of previous year)
The winning chapters receive recognition in the In the Works e-newsletter, in the Reporter, and at Congress, along with a chapter banner patch and a $500 check to be utilized for providing educational content for their chapter members.
Every chapter in good standing is eligible for consideration. However the chapter must have submitted its financial reports in accordance with the Rules Governing Chapters and must utilize APWA national office for administration of membership dues collection.
Selection is based on standing on the “Membership Statistics Report by Chapter Size” online membership report for end of June.
No nomination documentation is required; all eligible chapters are automatically nominated.
