At no cost, APWA has added a new feature that provides employers with a new recruitment vehicle and students with a new path to careers in public works. Employers, simply post your internship online through our new Internship feature or potential employees can look for positions using the search feature.

Job Seekers
After you sign in, you can search for public works internship opportunities using the new WorkZone tools. Search by specific geographic areas by simply clicking on the new Mapping link to see where all internships are geographically or use the search agents to save your jobs. Begin your search by going to the Search tab under Job Seeker. In the Select Job Type field, click Internship and see the results.

Employers
Employers can place internship opportunities, FREE. APWA provides employers with a new recruitment vehicle to public works. After registering, you can select Job Type, internship on the Position Details tab. You will be able to go through the rest of the posting information as though posting a job but on the last page, the selection option is internship. If you fill a position before the internship posting expires (45 days), you can end your posting with one click. Once a internship posting expires, it can be easily re-listed.
