Ann staffs the Transportation and Water Resources Management Committees, and edits the newsletters for each area of interest. Ann is coordinating the Emerging Leaders Forum that encourages involvement of both experienced mentors along with public works personnel with less than five years of professional experience.

Karen is responsible for the development and implementation of over 150 Congress sessions annually. She produces the Call for Presentations, manages the judging progress through the Congress Program Review Committee, and handles all speakers communications and contracting. She is the main researcher for many new initiatives in the department and develops specialty programs and workshops as the need occurs.

Michael manages the planning and production of the new interactive web-based series of monthly information training programs available at your desktop. He also exclusively develops the education program for the popular North American Snow Conference. His role also involves working with the chapters in offering live training, such as the Fleet Workshops, in their locations. Michael is the key education liaison to most of the P/E/T committees.

Education Assistant
Kendra is the education department's control point for all education-related inquiries. She oversees distribution of speaker information packets and then organizes all forms, data and special needs from them for the annual Congress. Additionally, she is responsible for the receipt of all abstracts from the Call for Presentations and prepares materials for and assists in the judging. She is the onsite coordinator for the more than 300 speakers at Congress. Her other responsibilities include CEU maintenance, evaluation summarization, and post-event correspondence.

Brandy is responsible for ensuring prompt registrations to the various meetings and workshops that APWA holds. Dann directs and manages all APWA Information Technology areas. He is responsible for coordinating all computer, network, and Internet-related activities in and between the Kansas City and Washington offices, as well as developing and maintaining working relationships with computer hardware, software, and service vendors. He maintains APWA's internal and external e-mail systems and is the technical contact for APWA's InfoNOW Communities. He also maintains and monitors APWA's internal network, website, and Internet access, and establishes Service Level Agreements for all network operations.
