It provides access to all its journals, conference proceedings, books, standards, manuals, magazines, and newsletters. The site also includes legislative updates and ASCE congressional testimony. There are online discussion forums for members only.

ODOT has created a home page for the partnering effort which contains background information, schedule, committee contacts, drafts of the joint specifications, and drawings.

Qualification Based Selection of Consultants (QBS)

APWA is a proponent of selection of engineers, architects and other professional consultants based on their qualifications and has adopted a policy statement encouraging the use of QBS as the preferred method of consultant selection. An APWA publication, Selection and Use of Engineers, Architects and Professional Consultants: A Guide for Public Agencies was developed to assist public agencies in understanding the importance of QBS and how to successfully implement a recruitment based on qualifications.
