General Sessions

Speaker: Dave Horsager

Dynamic Leadership is No "Sleight of Hand"

Dave Horsager shares his strategies for leadership and success gained working with some of America's top companies. His message is straightforward; his formula for success simple. Dave will challenge you to do the four things that make a BIG difference in how you either succeed or fail as a leader. He is fun, fresh and shoots straight from the hip with his direct approach. He has captivated audiences not only in the U.S., but also in Spain, Latvia, France, Japan, and Australia.

Dave grew up on a bean farm in northern Minnesota and began his career in leadership and communications at the young age of 21. At one point in time, he and his wife had a combined net worth of $1.40. Today, he runs three highly successful companies that help people and organizations grow by improving service, productivity, leadership, and a commitment to integrity. One interesting note is that Dave was mentored by one of the world's best illusion teachers and often incorporates this craft into his presentations. You'll want to stick around and see what he may or may not "have up his sleeve"!

Woods & Water, Snow & Ice: Experiences of a Legendary Outdoorsman

One thing you cannot fake is passion, and Babe Winkelman is a prime example. An avid outdoorsman since he was a small child, Babe has gained a loyal national following of hunters and fishing people who tune in to watch his television shows, "Good Fishing" and "Outdoor Secrets."

After building a successful construction business, Babe decided to follow his heart and started Babe Winkelman Productions. The company bears his name and personality, and its mission is to teach others how to be successful when hunting and fishing—while always remaining respectful to the natural world.

Babe has visited many of our nation's bodies of water and has observed firsthand the damage caused by chemicals used in deicing operations. His message to the North American Snow Conference is that we need to work in tandem to enjoy our environment and to protect and preserve it.
