Canadian National Water and Wastewater Benchmarking Initiative

You cannot improve what you do not measure. Thirty-five Canadian municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities have participated in a benchmarking project to make performance comparisons and guide continuous improvement.

Learning Objectives:
By attending this session, participants will be better able to:

  1. Describe why process improvement must be guided by measurements.
  2. Determine effective water and wastewater measurements.
  3. Explain why people and processes are more important that automation and computerization.
