APWA has launched a new grassroots advocacy initiative called APWA Advocates. APWA Advocates is a network of APWA members who in every United States congressional district are taking an active role promoting APWA’s legislative priorities to Congress through outreach and education. Members of APWA Advocates will keep in regular contact with their Congressional Representative and Senators and respond to APWA legislative action alerts. APWA Advocates will let lawmakers know that investing in public infrastructure must be a national priority.
